Ben Konstantinovic
| Ben Konstantinovic (DOB unknown) played lead guitar in InMe from August 2008 - October 2009. A skilled laptapping solo artist in his own right, Ben was discovered by Dave McPherson when he turned up to play at one of Dave's acoustic nights. Impressed from the off, Dave invited Ben to improvise over his acoustic solo work. This was successful and Ben joined Dave as his touring lead guitarist for his solo work, which consequently lead to Ben's addition to InMe in the summer of 2008 as the band's first specialist lead player, resulting in the bands first four piece lineup. He made his live debut in April 2009. Ben contributed heavily to InMe's technical 4th album Herald Moth, adding several complex guitar solos and tapped lead lines, the latter proving to be a hallmark of his. The combination of the already tap happy Dave and the serious proficiency of Ben in this field was integral to the band's evolution in sound. As well as tapping, Ben was also comfortable with regular playing styles, with his melodic, bluesy and catchy playing with a heavy 80's influence also prominent on Herald Moth. In addition to this, he also contributed additional guitar on "I Don't Do Requests", "Hearts Need Blood" and "Mr Goodchild" on Dave's "I Don't Do Requests" EP, released in 2008. On the eve of the band's first full tour in support of Herald Moth in September 2009, Ben and drummer Simon Taylor were involved in a car accident, which lead to Ben breaking his wrist and missing the tour completely. Following the tour, InMe and Ben amicably parted ways. Outside of InMe, Ben is a skilled and successful laptapping/airtapping artist and has released one solo instrumental EP entitled "Rain Before The Storm". He has also formed classic rock act "The Suburbians" with his brother Mark. Ben has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Sussex and is a qualified pilot.
